Nzinga Knight New York's Spring 2013 collection is a compilation of high-end eveningwear gowns, skirts and blouses that exemplify the highest level American fashion juxtaposed with the timeless values of elegance and coverage dear to Islam. 80% of Nzinga Knight’s collection was shown at Lincoln Center during New York fashion week and 3 more pieces were left to be created for a presentation in LA for LA fashion week where the collection will be presented to a celebrity audience who can help to promote the brand, God willing. Knight is seeking funding to complete the 3 remaining styles.

The NZINGA KNIGHT collection & brand is being called "new and visionary with a design aesthetic like Prada" by Fern Mallis. It’s a new conversation about fashion and womanhood. The designer’s goal is to use fashion as a vehicle for elevating society. The classic and innovative designs allow for the mystery of a woman to be seen. A woman wearing the designs reveals only her face and hands and exudes effortless elegance and confidence. The fashion community at large and laymen have been prompted to think about women in society and boundaries between public and private. It is a social experiment and several comments to blogs and online newspapers have proven how riveting and uplifting her style is.
